A photography exhibition of some stunning Island wildlife images, begins in April at Freshwater Library, with the next stop Newport Minster in May.

The year long touring exhibition contains winning and shortlisted entries in the 'It’s a Very Small World' Go Wild on Wight category, as part of the annual Isle of Wight Photographer of the Year competition in 2009.
The overall winner of the competition was Gay Farmer with an exquisite study of a 'Dragonfly' this was closely followed by Stuart Shore with ‘Red Squirrel’ and Paul Blackley with ‘Male Barn Owl’. The top three images (pictured) are also on display as part of a two month long exhibition at Quay Arts along with IWPOY entries 2009, until 10th May 2010.
In 2009 the Islands Biodiversity group Wild on Wight provided an opportunity to budding nature and Wildlife photographers to Go Wild On Wight in ‘It’s a very small world' category.
The touring photography exhibition can be seen at Freshwater Library throughout April then at Newport Minster Church throughout May. |
